    Personal data
    Information that identifies an individual

    Data controller
    The person/entity who determines the purpose of for the personal data and the tools used (receiving authority)

    Data processor
    The person/entity handling the personal data on behalf of the data controller


This statement explains how ACOS AS protects privacy as a data processer of personal data. It is imperative for ACOS to handle personal data in a secure, safe and confidential manner, and in compliance with current legislation. ACOS will take reasonable technical and organisational precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of your personal information. ACOS is the data processer, while KPMG is the receiving authority and data controller. The ownership is governed by a data processor agreement.

What we collect and why
The information provided is submitted to the data controller. The information enables the data controller to handle your incident reporting. The information is handled in the same way as if you had filed a form on paper.

Personal data
Please note that by providing personal information, you consent to our privacy statement. This consent covers storage, guidelines and handling of your data.

How your information is stored
The personal data you type in the form will be stored on our server and will not be available for anybody else until you click the submit button. By submitting the data you confirm that KPMG may receive the information. All provided information is deleted from the data processor's server upon submitting within three days at the latest. The data processor will store metadata only, containing type of form, timestamp, reference number and recipient.

Secure line
We use SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) to transfer information between your computer and our server. The security level matches that of internet banks.

Right of access
You may at any time request access to the personal data we have stored on you. To do so, simply email (contact@kpmg.no) and ask. If you find the information inaccurate or incomplete, you can request that the data be deleted.

Lack of consent
Do not use the electronic form if you do not consent to our privacy statement. If this is the case, you will need to contact KPMG by other means.

Age limit
There is no requirement for an age limit.
